I have been using Amelia for a long time, and so far, everything has worked perfectly. Unfortunately, the integration with Google Calendar has recently stopped working. While available time slots are displayed correctly, newly booked appointments are no longer being synced with Google Calendar.
Please assist me with this issue.
Thank you very much and best regards,
Timo Kirsten
Thanks for reaching out to us. There is an option in integration settings called "Maximum Number Of Events Returned". Please try increasing this number to a higher value and it should show more events on the Google Calendar. Please note that you need to enable "remove busy slots" first in order to able to increase this number.
Please help fast! I just increased the value to 200 and it didn't work. Now no one can book an appointment at all! Therefore I decreased it back to 50 and booking still doesn't work. What happened here? I didn't change anything else.
Just tested the booking on your website. It does work properly, I've managed to book the appointment
Perhaps, you can provide the WP admin credentials so I can log in and test this.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
I tried it several times, changing the value between 50 and 100 and I can't get the booking to work. I also tried to book an appointment on different browsers. There is no way for our customers to book an appointment.
Just tried one more time. The booking is working properly, as per the screenshot. This shouldn't be related to the Google Calendar integration option at all
I got your booking and my wife also tried it and succeeded while booking. So it seems to be something with my computer.
BUT: I'm still missing the appointment being transferred to my Google calendar even though I incresed the max. Number of Events to 200. Can you help me with that? It is the same problem with both websites I use and it occured instantly at the same time while working great for years ...
I will provide you the credentials shortly per mail ... Thank you!
Well, i can log in and take a better look when you provide the WP admin credentials. You can provide them here (username, password, and URL of the website) just make sure that the reply is marked as private and nobody can see it except us.
Thanks again, I've managed to get the access now. It looks like it's working properly now. The issue was that your default appointment status is set to pending, but the option "insert pending appointments" was not enabled in Google Calendar integration. So, I've booked a test appointment with your employee for Sep 25, and it's visible on the Google Calendar, as it should.
Feel free to test again and let me know if it works.
