Basically, for any Staging or LocalHost Site, you are not obligated to activate your licence on those kind of 'test/development site versions'.
For example, if you get a 'Standard' licence which only has one Domain at a time for activation - you can manually install the Plugin by downloading it from the TMS Storeaccount;
and you can manually keep it updated on LocalHost ( or Staging/Dev Site version).
So you should only activate it on a Live/production version of your Site.
And you can, of course, also switch the activated domain for any licence.
- If you need to switch domains at any time;
You can either log in the 'old domain's' website WP-Admin, go to our Plugin settings/Activation, and hit "deactivate" button there;
And go to the new site, log in our Plugin there, in the Activation settings just paste your Purchase Code, and the licence will be switched to that domain.
Or, you can deactivate the domain through your Store Account like this :
In our store you can go to "My Licenses" and click on the "Manage Domains" button:
From there, you will be able to deactivate the old domain (while it's still active), and then simply activate the new domain in wpDataTables settings/Activation, once you move the site.
If your Sites would all be under the same domain as sub-sites - we have unlimited sub-sites on the licences for activation ( for all licence plans).
If you still haven't purchased the Premium licence, I just wanted to point out that you can try wpDataTables before purchasing on our sandbox Demo sites ( you can find links for the main plugin Demo, as well as add-on Demos, in my signature);
and there is a 15-day money-back guarantee period, so if you purchase the plugin, you can safely fully test it out, and if it doesn't fit your needs you can request and receive a refund in that period. ( same goes for all plugins and add-ons)
Does my local workstation domain count towards licensing. I use my workstation for pre-production development.
