I have been making some test bookings and a single real paid booking using Amelia on a website I have created for my client. The paid booking is confirmed and payment has been received by Stripe.
I hoped I would receive confirmation emails for each booking (paid and otherwise) but have yet to see any coming through. I tried a different sending email (a gmail account) and changed the settings for SMPT but still no joy. I tried a test email and got an error message. The test notification email only worked because I changed the mail service back to WP mail. I'm sure that I am missing something obvious here, but I just can see what to try next. I'm trying work this out before I ask my client to user her new business email which will be also be a gmail address. She is opening for business in the next few days and I am eager to sort this out as quickly as possible. Hope you can help. Thanks!
Thanks for reaching out to us. Im sure that this issue is related to the email setup. Even if you have SMTP protocol configured, there are two reasons why the email notifications fail. The first one is because the credentials are not correct, and the second one is because of the hosting-related issues. The way to test the notifications is to try sending a test email like you did, and in the dev console, there is usually a message pointing out the issue. Have you followed the instructions from this link?
Make sure that the configuration is correct, if it still doesn't work, then I would have to ask for the credentials so I can log in to take a better look.
I will go through the process again using a gmail email address as a test and I will double check the credentials. I thought I had followed the instructions but after a long day at the computer, you never know... If I'm still having problems I will reach back out to you.
Completely understand, it's always good to double-check. Please, let me know if it works and if you still have issues, I can log in to take a better look.

Hi Stefan
Thanks for getting back to me!
I will go through the process again using a gmail email address as a test and I will double check the credentials. I thought I had followed the instructions but after a long day at the computer, you never know... If I'm still having problems I will reach back out to you.
Many thanks, Mark
