We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hi,
I got a question from a client, that I'm trying to find a solution for.
It's a market fair, that has a number of booths. They want me to create a system for handling reservations for a shorter (1 day) or longer (up to 1 year) period.
So I need to handle UX of the reservations, where I as vendor will pick my preferred (not reserved) booth for either a specific date, several dates or a day of the week for a longer period.
And the booking interface should only show me what is possible.
This means that it should be possible for me to book every Thursday for the next three month (or perhaps only either a season or a whole year, but only for the dates, that isn't already booked specifically on dates with this period. Or even better: give me a warning, that I can't get the whole period.
Would that be possible to create with Amelia?
I don't need to connect a person to the booking, just a "location".
Hello Morten,
Thank you for your inquiry.
You can achieve this using the recurring appointment option in Amelia. Additionally, you can connect each employee to a specific location and then hide the employee field from the front-end, ensuring that only the location is shown for booking.
You can hide the Employee field on the Amelia/Customize page.
Kind Regards,
Uros Jovanovic
