Yes, you can connect the Amelia Customers to the WordPress user. All WP users that have Amelia Customer user roles will be visible in the expanding menu when you go to the Amelia Customers. For example, if you go to the Amelia Customers section, click on the WordPress menu, in the expanding list you will see the WP users
was more asking if there’s a way as they join, or automatically to connect them. That’s a bit too troublesome to go into each customer profile one by one, make them a separate Wordpress account, and connect them. Way too many customers to do that
In that case, there is an option called "Automatically create WP user" in User Role settings. This would work for customers since each time a new customer books an appointment (and it's his first time), Amelia can create a new WP user with the Amelia Customer user role.
Another email is sent along with the booking email (depending on the status). They can use these login credentials to log in to WordPress, but it's more meant to be used for the Customer Panel. It offers the flexibility and more information for a customer (they can see the appointment and events and also manage the appointments there)
By default, they won't be auto-redirected, but there is an option to add the redirection URL so that when a customer finishes his booking, he will be redirected to the URL of the particular page. They can both log in to the WordPress and Customer Panel, but we specifically made the Customer Panel for that purpose. They can preview their appointments and packages there more easily.
"They can preview their appointments and packages there more easily." - how more easily, whats the difference, if they login with wordpress and go to that page wouldnt they see same thing nomatter how they logged in?
I was referring to the fact that customers are more likely to use Customer Panel for managing their appointments/events. Not many customers are using WordPress to log in. You are right, not many differences between these two, I just think that the customer panel interface is more user-friendly.
ok, just to answer your question. so heres the thing, customers aside from seeing appointments way want to also be able to see thier woocommerce invoices, ect, or other things set for a customer hub. also when u have employees using wordpress logins, hard to have multiple login portals. amelia customer, amelia employee, and a wordpress user, thats 3 seperate logins for one website. can get confusing.
I know and i agree that this might be confusing, but, unfortunately, there are no other options because each user role has a specific set of user role permissions. Therefore, if they are mixed, Amelia won't be able to tell which user role permissions to apply. In other words, one WP user can't be an admin and employee at the same time, since an admin can see and change all the settings in the backend, where an employee can only see a specific set of options. I'm thinking about the third-party plugins such as User Role Editor which allows you to change the permissions for each user role, but I'm still not sure if you are going to be able to change the roles for customers so they can see the invoices and etc.
I agree with you completely. Yes like I have set up employee hubs, so they employees can see other stuff like filled out forms using form builders ect, but it’s fine for Amelia employee role as they only should their appointments and their customers anyways. Don’t really think an admin/employee mix would be needed, wouldn’t make sense.
Yes, the admin/employee mix is not recommended, anyway, so the only option is to have a separate user role for each WP user. The Amelia Customer user role has already a set of permissions, but this also depends on the User Role settings. Some settings can be enabled/disabled in the User Role settings, but these are not applied to the fact that customers can see the other stuff such as the invoices or etc.
Is there anyway to connect amelia customers and wordpress users so they can use the same login?

ok so how would they get there login info? And so once they log in user regular Wordpress login, they would be able to see their appointments?

yes I understand that. But can’t I just auto forward/redirect them to the customer panel after login?
Or do they need to login specifically using customer panel to see that stuff?
