I think it is not possible with our current Report Builder capabilities to export a grouped column like that, the same way as it is in the source table, but we will double-check this with our QA Team to be sure.

As soon as we confirm it, we will report back.

We checked and sorry to disappoint you, but currently, the Report Builder can not export any grouped rows and it is not possible to export any styles from the table or formatting such as fonts, color or similar.

You can customize your Word/Excel templates though, so you can add colors there where your column placeholders will be placed and then the values which get passed from the table are going to look as you set their space on the template.

You can find more details here in the Report Builder Documentation such as guides how you can create your document templates, examples, etc.

You can add this idea as a future development suggestion, but we can't say an ETA if or when this might become possible. We will do our best to work on it in the future.

2. I also checked about our Table Tools, which have the option to print, export as CSV/Excel/PDF or 'copy to clipboard' and in the Table tool export options it is also not possible to export any Grouped Rows as well as any formatting like styling etc - it will only export the values.

Just a small follow up - I double-checked with our Developer Team, and sorry to disappoint you, but it is not possible to export Grouped rows with our current capabilities, neither through Report Builder or our Table Tools Export functionalities.

You can certainly make a development suggestion as explained in the previous reply, and follow our ChangeLog, so I hope our devs might devise a solution in the future for that use-case.
