I have create a table and use a filter for lets say amount of data. Possible values are 1, 2, 5, 10, 25, 50 and 100. I want to use the number range slider, but then with steps functionality, so not every option between 1 and 100 can be selected. All for a better user experience.
I know NoUiSlider is being used and there is a step functionality, but I am uncertain how to approach this. Ultimately I would even just use one handle instead of 2, so I can say > 1GB, > 10GB, >50GB, etc. with a final step that says " Max".
As it is part of the codebase I think these options should be somewhere, perhaps with some minimal coding.
Sorry to disappoint you, but at this time, we don't have any built-in solution to achieve this with the Number Slider.
For the time being, it is like you said, the Number slider functionality requires the user to slide the Min and Max - the default MIN is set as the minimal value in the Table, and the Max as the max possible value - but in between there is that 'step functionality' which we are unable to modify at the moment.
You can suggest it to our developers, though - they will do their best to make a solution in the future.
to see if someone may be already suggested this feature. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there, and as more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list.
You can certainly follow our changeLog page if you'd like ( it is also available in the plugin dashboard), where we state any changes/new features/bug fixes during updates;
and our newsletter, so you're informed about new features, bug fixes, freebies, etc.

If you have coding skills and wish to try to make a custom solution now,
Thanks, I have created a ticket. I think it is a big enhancement on the user experience, and as you are already using noUiSlider the implementation of a standard scenario should be fairly easy. Hope to see a follow up!

If you have coding skills and wish to try to make a custom solution now,
you can check out our available hooks for Developers on this documentation and see if you can find any hook that might help.
We also added this new developer's handbook, which can allow users with coding skills to make custom add-ons.
Our developers will keep adding more custom hooks/examples there over time.
-
Please be advised that custom solutions with hooks are not included in our support.
You can also research resources such as Stack Overflow to see if any other user perhaps found a workaround.
( We do like to give examples for certain solutions, but for this use-case, we, unfortunately, don't have anything yet)
Kind Regards,
Miloš Jovanović

Hi Ricardo,
Thanks for creating this development suggestion, I just upvoted it and I can see there are a few more users already who did the same.
As mentioned, our management will follow it up and they will manage priorities for all suggestions according to how many users request it, etc.
Thanks again.
Kind Regards,
