Is there any way to stop closed events from showing in the front end booking for events? I have Amelia on a course booking website and they offer many courses on a daily basis. These courses close for booking the day before the event starts to allow admin time to register attendees...etc. Now in the website if someone wants to book online they need to scroll a lot before they see an event they can actually book online. It is showing all the closed events. If there was a way to hide these events front end after they close that would solve the user experience issue. At the minute the booking system looks broken and unusable.
If you want to remove some events you will need to delete them at this time there is not other option Im afraid.
In light of this, we encourage you to kindly consider submitting this valuable suggestion as a feature request through the following link: https://features.wpamelia.com/. The prioritization of feature development is greatly influenced by the number of customer requests received. By participating and expressing your support, you contribute significantly to the potential expedited implementation of this feature.
Should you have any further inquiries, we kindly request that you open separate tickets for each question and we will gladly help you there.
We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.
The issue is that if I delete them (or instruct my client to do so at the end of each day) then an email sends to the people who will be attending to say the event is deleted. its always nice to be able to go back to past events and see the number of attendees and to see event info to clone it in the future. Deleting just doesn't make sense I'm afraid. I believe this is a long requested feature - I will check the https://features.wpamelia.com/ again now to see if there are still requests in there. Do I hop on another request and upvote it or create a new one?
There is no other way at this time Im afraid. It does not matter if you upvote or create new suggestion we have a team that monitors this and from time to time new list is created and votes are fused together.
