I have enabled the setting to show pending appointments in the employees' calendars. However, I have encountered an issue where the Google Calendar integration creates these events as "accepted" instead of with a pending or "maybe" status. This leads to confusion among employees as they are unsure if the event is confirmed in the system or still awaiting confirmation.
Ideally, pending appointments should be created with a "pending" status in the calendar. This way, once an employee accepts the event in their calendar, Amelia would update the status to "accepted." If this is not possible, at least displaying the events as not yet confirmed would help employees know they need to access the system to confirm the appointment.
Thank you for reaching out and for your detailed feedback.
Currently, the system operates as you described. The Google Calendar integration creates pending appointments with an "accepted" status, and there is no option to change this behavior at the moment. We understand that this may cause confusion among employees, and we appreciate your understanding.
We will pass along your feedback to our development team for future consideration. In the meantime, we recommend reminding employees to verify appointment statuses within the system to avoid any misunderstandings.
