We've been using the Amelia plugin and encountered an issue with the cancellation links sent via messages. The links are quite long, and there's a risk that clients may accidentally click on them and cancel their bookings.Since we cannot request email addresses, we have been relying on SMS for this communication.
Is there a way to shorten these links or add an optional validation step, like asking for a confirmation (e.g., "Are you sure? Please type 'Yes' or 'No'") to prevent accidental cancellations?
Thanks for reaching out to us. That's a good idea, but unfortunately, since there is no option for customers to reply to SMS messages, this wouldn't be possible.
Please feel free to search through our feature suggestion page, to see if someone may have already suggested this feature. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there, and as more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list.
You can certainly follow our changeLog page if you'd like, where we state any changes/new features/bug fixes during updates and our newsletter, so you're informed about new features, bug fixes, freebies, etc.
