When creating a recurring appointment for clients...some clients have mentioned they get multiple emails at the time of the booking, saying their email gets flooded.
Sometimes I will create 52 appointments with one client, so it's a bit embarrassing if it is indeed true that they get so many!
Is that actually correct and expected behaviour?
And any suggestions that can prevent that from happening?
Just to clarify, I don't mind if they get a reminder before the session (in fact I like that!). I just don't want it to send 52 emails the first time I create the recurring appointment.
You're suggesting, that yes, they will indeed get 52 emails on one day - the day I create the appointment. Is that correct?
And to prevent that from happening, I need to follow your instructions. Correct?
No, if you are booking recurring appointments like this
Then you get only one mail
If you can replicate the issue please send us a short video to see the steps and issue since we can not replicate this. Only if you book them one by one then 52 mails will be sent.
Yes, I am booking it like that - doing the recurring option. It's strangeg, as my logs are showing only one email is being sent. I am asking for some screenshots from my clients to show me what they mean and I'll report it here. Several have said it is overwhelming them when I set recurring sessions, which I don't want, to the point where clients are saying "let me just change it to fortnightly". That's happened seveal times.
I'll keep you posted what they're actually seeing...

Hello there,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Yes, that is correct behavior if you create 52 appointment they must get a notifications for that.
But you can turn it off in 2 ways
1. When you create an appointment you have option to turn off notifications
2. Or you can temporarily turn off notification in the notification section like this
One of these options should help
Should you have any further inquiries, we kindly request that you open separate tickets for each question and we will gladly help you there.
We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.
Kind Regards,
Marko Davidovic
