Hello there,
We find the placeholder prefiltering function very good!
We often use it to run a single filter e.g. [wpdatatable id=558 var1='apples'] but could we use it to show both apples and bananas by doing something like [wpdatatable id=558 var1='apples' OR var1='bananas' ]?

Hello Martin.
I'm sorry to disappoint you, but unfortunately, something like this is not yet possible.
You can create a duplicated table, and then predefine the filters so both "apples" and "bananas" are defined, but there's currently no way to use multiple filtering values for a single placeholder.
