I'm experiencing some difficulties with the custom HTML feature in our service descriptions.
Here's what's happening:
I'm trying to create a more visually appealing layout for our service descriptions using custom HTML. This includes formatting for the description text, pricing information, and a list of features.
When I paste the HTML code into the custom HTML area of the service description, it's adding unwanted blank lines and spaces. This is causing excessive spacing in the final display on our website.
I've tried several versions of the HTML, including ones without div tags and using only basic HTML elements, but the issue persists.
These extra spaces appear to be actual elements on the page, as I can highlight them on the live site.
I left a live version up under the "70' Obstacle Course" so you can take a look at it.
I'm afraid we don't understand what exactly you want to achieve and what exactly is the issue? Can you explain in a little more detail and send us some screenshots or a short one-minute video?
Also, on a side note, can you advise on if there is anyway to temporarily turn off online bookings? We want the catalog to be visible, just not bookable yet.
As for HTML we will forward this to our Dev team so that take a look as for not bookable option you can set in employee modal that your employees are on vacation. This way the booking form will show but customer will not be able to book time slots.
We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.
We just got the feedback from our colleagues and they have told us that on the main div add these styles:
display: flex;
flex-direction: column;
With !important if it doesn't work right away. This will remove the extra spacing. And to have the checkmarks align with the text, put the text in a <p> tag (in picture done on 70 feet...)
Hope this helps.
We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.
You are most welcome, and we are glad that we were able to help you. Should you have any further inquiries, we kindly request that you open separate tickets for each question and we will gladly help you there.
