I m selling a package with 2 services: 1. Blutabnahme and 2. medical check-up.
--> so two services that happen on two different dates, hence a cst HAS TO buy both services.
Now the problem: If a cst. downloads the .ics file through the last step of the booking form (see screenshot) it downloads 2 ics files (which is great), one is showing the right location - in this case Venus 1. Stock and one is actually showing the address of my private address that i entered during the booking process. (where it should also show Venus 1. Stock, as this is where this service is taking place).
Now my question: where can i change the setting of the location of an .ics file so that it actually takes the location that is connected to the service i am selling?
I am not attaching .ics files to the emails (as this is not possible for packages - that's what i was told). I am talking about the .ics files that my clients can download at the last page of the booking process.
How can i adjust the location of the ics file that can be downloaded from this page?
This depends on the location to which the employee has been assigned and also the service that has been assigned to that employee. For example, if you book an appointment where the location is "Laser Tag", this information is also available in .ics file.
The other information (description) comes from the ics description in Notification settings.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
Apologies for the delayed answer. I took some time trying to reproduce this use case on our local server. Unfortunatelly, I wasn't able to do so since when there is a booking for a package, only the "package booked" template is sent to the customer. That leads me to the notification template, itself. I'm noticing that you've configured the %package_appointment_detals" placeholder for this template where you have the location name and address placeholder. Since this is going to the customers, most probably is coming from this section. You can check by editing this and let me know if it works.
the problem is not the notification email, where you can see that the location (Raum) is correct: Venus, 1. Stock for BOTH appointments within the package.
The problem comes with the .ics file where the location for the "Aerztliche Untersuchung is shown correct: Venus, 1. Stock", bt for "Blutabnahme" it shows a wrong address.
Unfortunatelly, we weren't able to find the root cause so far, but we've noticed that you do not have the latest version of Amelia. Can you please update to the latest version and also provide more information on possible steps so we can try to reproduce the use case one more time. There are a lot of packages with the same name so we are not sure which package should we test?
Apologies again for the delayed answer. We continued the investigation only to find this. There is a "location" custom field where you have "checked" the option for Google / Outlook Event location. Since this custom fields is assigned to service "Blutabnahme", therefore the location is sent within the .ics file. You want to turn this off and then just the appointment location will be sent.

Hi Namika,
Thanks for reaching out to us. You can change the .ics description that can be sent for both approved and pending bookings in Notifications settings.
Once enabled, if you scroll down to the bottom, you will find this field where you can add the placeholders.
I hope it helps.
Kind Regards,
Stefan Petrov

Hi Stefan,
i get that and YES, that's the way how it works for ONE of the appointments within the package:
The package has two appointments:
1. Blutabnahme: WRONG address ie. it shows my home address (Gemeindeaugasse) that i put in while signing up for the package.
2. Aerztliche Untersuchung - Basic: RIGHT address (Venus, 1. Stock, based on the location that is assigned to the employee.
Any idea on to WHY?

getting a lot of negative feedback on this, as my clients work a lot with .ics files.
