Having the same issue. If I click the "queued" link it will then deliver. There is definitely an issue that Amelia needs to resolve here as this has been happening over the past year

David, Amelia sends out the messages properly if you have enough balance. However, if the response from the carrier is not immediate, it won't automatically recheck and refresh the status. A "Failed" status indicates an immediate issue with the system.
Since almost all messages are delivered and the chances of a real issue are low, this isn't considered a high-priority problem. You can simply click on the "refresh" button to see the actual status of the message.
Nonetheless, I'll forward your complaint to our developers in the hope that they'll be able to add a fix for this in the future.
