In the backend of the site, the plugin shows a "spinner" while the table loads. On the frontend, it just shows the blank space until the table loads.
I do want the table to not show until it has fully loaded, but while it's doing that, it would be great to show the spinner just like it's currently happening on the backend
Note by "spinner" I don't mean the one that shows when you're switching pagination in tables that have sever-side processing enabled. I mean one that shows when you first land on the page and the table hasn't loaded yet
I have good news, our developers finished their work on a 'loader' animation which is going to be used for all our tables on front-end while they are loading, since we already had a lot of users ask for it before.
The 'loader' is going to take up the same space on the Page as the table will when it fully loads, so it will just serve as a 'loader preview image' if that makes sense to make the front-end users aware that a table is loading.
This should be added in the upcoming update which is very soon, I just can't say an exact ETA/day when it will be released, the QA Team is still finishing up some testing.
Please keep a lookout on our changeLog page if you'd like ( it is also available in the plugin dashboard), where we state any changes/new features/bug fixes during updates;
and our newsletter, so you're informed about new features, bug fixes, freebies, etc.
So you will see a note about the "Loader animation/image" there.
