We are receiving many complaints, the customer gets confused because he thinks that the number of companions is the total number of people, and book for e.g. 3 persons (2 accompanying persons), when they really only want to book for 2 persons in total.
Is there any way to set it up so that the customer has to specify the number of people, not the number of companions please?
Thanks for reaching out to us. Unfortunatelly, currently, there is no option to configure this. It has been requested already by a couple of users, but currently, Amelia calculates the customer who is booking plus the number of additional people.
Please feel free to search through our feature suggestion page, to see if someone may have already suggested this feature. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there, and as more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list.
You can certainly follow our changeLog page if you'd like, where we state any changes/new features/bug fixes during updates and our newsletter, so you're informed about new features, bug fixes, freebies, etc.
