We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

Problemi con la gestione delle stanze e la visualizzazione nel calendario

    Gentile Supporto Amelia,

    Sto riscontrando alcuni problemi con la gestione delle stanze e la visualizzazione nel calendario. Di seguito, i dettagli:

    1. Gestione delle Stanze:
      • Attualmente, le stanze non possono essere configurate come sedi, perché le sedi possono essere attribuite solo a un insegnante alla volta. In un contesto scolastico, un insegnante può insegnare in varie stanze, ma il sistema non permette questa configurazione.
      • Quando le stanze vengono impostate come risorse, non sono visibili né nel processo di prenotazione né nel calendario. Questo rende impossibile gestire correttamente le prenotazioni e attribuire le stanze alle lezioni.
    2. Visualizzazione nel Calendario:
      • Avrei bisogno di vedere tutte le stanze in una schermata del calendario, in modo da poter attribuire le lezioni alle stanze corrette.
      • Al momento, le sedi non sono collegate alle risorse, il che rende il calendario inutile per la gestione delle stanze.

    Proposta di Soluzione:

    • Il problema sarebbe di risoluzione semplicissima, basterebbe dare la possibilità a un insegnante di insegnare in varie sedi e quindi in varie stanze. Questo collegamento sarebbe una soluzione semplice ed eviterebbe complicazioni inutili con Google Calendar. Non credo che solo io abbia bisogno di questo risultato, e mi sorprende che non sia già stato implementato.
    1. Modifica delle Prenotazioni Confermate:
      • Una prenotazione confermata non può essere editata per aggiungere una stanza. Questo limita enormemente la flessibilità e la gestione delle lezioni. È fondamentale che anche le prenotazioni confermate siano editabili.

    Spero che queste informazioni siano sufficienti per comprendere la mia situazione. Una sessione di chat o video chat potrebbe aiutare a risolvere la questione in maniera più efficiente.

    Thanks for contacting us.

    If you have multiple questions or issues, please open a new ticket and we will help you . This way, issues and questions related to different topics will be put into separate tickets so that other customers or our support agents can easily find them.

    Our policy is to have a problem or question per ticket for the reasons already described.

    Thanks for understanding.

    1. You can set rooms as services or as employees. You cannot have them as locations. An employee can be set to work in multiple locations at the same time, but once they are booked in one location, they will automatically be unavailable for all other locations during that time slot.

    2. As far as we know, the resources are set up to do the opposite of what you want to achieve. There are resources to prevent double booking, i.e. if you have 10 rooms and 5 teachers, as soon as the first 5 teachers are booked, the other 5 teachers will not be available for booking in that time slot. The resources are designed to work.

    3.  You can see "rooms" in a calendar if you create them as employees.

    4. You can use the positions in resources, but we are not sure if you need the resources, we think it is better to set a separate employee as a room.

    5. An employee can be set to work at multiple locations at the same time, but once booked at one location, they will not automatically be available for all other locations during that time slot.

    6. Sfortunatamente, attualmente questa funzionalità non è disponibile ad Amelia.
