After researching this issue it seems like there might be a workaround for changing the sending SMS phone number (PUBLIC TICKET #3195504).
The issue I am having is that clients are responding to the text messages, but of course, I never receive them because this is the phone number of the service (Twilio) Amelia uses.
I have already changed the alpha sender ID. The issue is that I will never receive messages that clients respond to.
These are 2 separate issues alpha sender is just a way to show different name but all notifications are sent from one account. And customers can not reply to this number so the only option is to write in notifications no reply and you can write for example if you need to respond you can do that on this number and write your own number.
But there is no option for customers to reply to SMS notifications from Twilio.
