Tables loading fine on back end but not on front

    Hi there,

I've been working with joined tables and while I can get them to work on the back end just fine, they don't render on the front end (only the title is displayed). The issue seems to be foreign keys, which I have already reached out to you about. The solution back then was to turn off served-side-processing but when I tried doing the same, the front end editing option disappears as well (although it displays fine on both the front end and the back end). Bug or feature?

    Thanks,

    Rok

    Hi Rok,

Yes. When you wish to edit tables, the server-side option has to be enabled for it to work.

Do you have any caching active on this Page where the table is?

I think we maybe already went through this on another ticket, but, that is OK, we will still cover everything just to be sure.

We currently have this issue which only happens for server-side processing tables when you have caching active on the page.

Our developers are intensively working to resolve this issue, as soon as possible. I can't say an ETA on it, unfortunately.

    You can certainly follow our changeLog page if you'd like ( it is also available in the plugin dashboard), where we state any changes/new features/bug fixes during updates;

and our newsletter, so you're informed about new features, bug fixes, freebies, etc.

For the time being, the only two possible solutions will be:

    1.  To disable caching only for pages where you have the tables, or perhaps disable caching entirely, if possible.

Most caching Plugins have the option to add URL's that will be excluded, so if possible, see if you can add the Pages with tables there, and that should solve it for now.

    2. Or you can try disabling the server-side processing option in your Table.

But, if you disable the server-side, then you can't have editing, so that won't work for this use-case.

I guess at this time, you will have to try to exclude any Pages where you have server-side enabled on a Table from your Caching Plugin.

This should resolve the issue. Let me know how it goes.

    Kind Regards,
