We have an overall capacity of 60 Players at a time. Players can book 3 Hour Slots between 03.00 pm to 00:00 am.
For example:
Group 1 books 10 players from 03.00 pm to 06.00 pm.
Group 2 books 30 players from 03.30 pm to 06.30 pm.
Group 3 books 20 players from 04.00 pm to 07.00 pm.
The appointments, capacities and remaining free slots for that day would then look like this:
at 03.00 pm: 10/60 players
at 03:30 pm: 40/60 players
at 04.00 pm: 60/60 players
at 06:00 pm: 50/60 players
at 06:30 pm: 20/60 players
at 07:00 pm: 0/60 players
Which means that the next possible 3 hour booking would be possible from 06.00 pm to 09.00 pm for 1 to 10 players.
The service is always a 3-hour flat rate or a 2-hour flat rate, the number of players can be selected from 1 - 60 and the calendar only shows you the days and slots that are still available based on the selected number of players. So it's more about the maximum capacity of the location.
Is there a way to implement this with amelia or will there ever be a way?
We just wanted to let you know that we did not forger about you but we can not set up this in Amelia so we are looking in to some possible solutions if there are any we will reach out to you as soon as we have more information.
We just got the feedback from our colleagues and they have told us that theoretically this can be set up to a point, but honestly, it is not feasible because the customer has to choose an employee - if it goes randomly and they don't choose an employee, it may happen that Amelia offer an employee who is already busy.
For example, according to your example - Group 1 books 10 players for 15h. If other customers does not choose another employee but go to "Any Employee" option, then Amelia can choose the same employee again so that they are not offered the appointment from 15:30
And there is no other way to cover slots like this (every half hour) without having more employees.
It would be extremely difficult to navigate, this is the only way you can try to adjust to some extent what you want, but not completely, I'm afraid. Unfortunately, you cannot set exactly what you want in Amelia. We were looking a solution for 2 days and this is the best that we can offer at this time.
Should you have any further inquiries, we kindly request that you open separate tickets for each question and we will gladly help you there.
We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.
