Not only wp data tables was THE WORST BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER, wasted an hour finding out how to acitvate it, but on top of it first thing I try doing, doesn't work!
I share a google spreadsheet and it keeps returning ERROR! See the screen.
Can you first please make sure that you have published this Spreadsheet ( by going to Go to File -> Share -> Publish to web?
And set the "Share option" at the top right, to "Anyone on the with the link can view";
It seems you set this step correctly as per your screenshot :
Important Note: Please, don’t copy the link that is first shown in Publish section.
But instead, make sure to copy this link from your browser, since you will use it in wpDataTables (the links aren’t same, and with the first one you will not be able to create the table).

If you are still unable to resolve this, we can remote in and check the issue for you.
For that, if you can please send me the URL to your Site along with Administrator User credentials;
And please share access to the source Sheet with my email [email protected], so that we can inspect the Sheet, too.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here because this ticket is private and nobody can see them except us.
