Quick question, can you use the email notification from Amelia whilst using Woocommerce checkout?
So basically set up the notification per each service, send the client through the Woocommerce cart and checkout and once they buy, send the notification from Amelia.
Thanks for reaching out to us. Actually, it's the opposite, the booking needs to be done through Amelia where from the last step, the customer is forwarded to the WooCoomerce checkout. Once he finishes the checkout on the WooCoomerce window, Amelia will mark the appointment as completed and then the notifications emails are sent. Of course, you can configure the notifications per each service / events, you can even configure the appointment status that will trigger the notification.
Please feel free to search through our feature suggestion page, to see if someone may have already suggested this feature. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there, and as more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list.
You can certainly follow our changeLog page if you'd like, where we state any changes/new features/bug fixes during updates and our newsletter, so you're informed about new features, bug fixes, freebies, etc.
Actually, here is how the whole process works. Assuming that you have WooCoomerce enabled as the payment method, your customer goes to the booking form, select the service and etc, goes to the last step and it is redirected to WooCoomerce checkout/cart (depending on the configuration). Once all information is entered there, as well, the confirmation email (notification template) is sent to both the employee assigned and the customer who booked the appointment.
Of course, this notification is coming from Amelia, but the WooCoomerce notification is also sent separately, so there is no confusion, whatsoever.

Hi Stefan,
So if I go through woo-commerce checkout I can still send notifications from Amelia. Great news!
Do I have to disable all the notifications on Woocommerce in order to not have double notifications sent to my clients?
Kind Regards
Stefano
