Dear team, I wanted to implement the new tax feature but doesn't work as described. When I enable "include taxes" and then add a new tax in the finance section, I can only apply it to events that are already closed. It does not offer me the option of choosing my open events.
However when I did that, it also messed up the pricing of my open events, there were suddenly set to zero:
We just got the feedback from our colleagues and they have told us that it works in the following way. If it is excluded on the payments step on the form, the tax will be calculated/displayed - that is, if the tax is 10% and the price of the service is 100, then 10 will be added and the final price will be 110.
If it is included on the payments step, it will only show the price of the service, that is, 100 and they will write tax included - that means the price of the booking will be 100, and if the tax is 10%, in the payment details it will be written on the Finance page, the tax will be 10 for that booking. But since it's included, you put the price in advance. Amelia doesn't do any calculations because you put the included price in advance, and it's understood that you put the price with tax.
If you have some other issue please send us a short one minute video where we can see the exact issue and we will try to help as best as we can.
As for not showing event would you be able to provide us with a Staging site, along with WP-admin (Administrator) user,
FTP credentials and the database access ( Either link with credentials for PHPMyAdmin or Hosting Panel),
so our developers can debug the plugin, and see what's going on?
If you're not able to provide us with a staging site, can you clone your website?
If yes - I'll ask you to install the All-in-One WP Migration plugin. It will generate a file that you can send me (along with the log-in credentials), and then I can create an exact copy of your website, see what the issue is and try to resolve it.
Please note that this file will be too large to attach to the ticket, so you can upload them via wetransfer.com and just send me the link.
thank you for your reply, but unfortunately it did not help. I know how it is supposed to be with the tax includeded option, but it is just not like that. As I said, I enabled the tax included option, and then 2 problems occured:
1. in the finance section, I could only apply tax to closed events. I could not apply taxes to my currently open events.
2. so I did that - I applied taxes the the closes events
3. BUT this messed up the pricing of my open events. I did not change anything with those events, the price is 85 Euros and it suddenly looked like this;
We just got the feedback from our colleagues and they have told us that this is a bug and they will start working on it and they will try to fix this as soon as it is possible. We do apologize for the inconvenience.
We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.
