In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

    Hello,

    I am currently learning how to use the Amelia booking plugin and have a few questions regarding payment collection.

    1. When a customer makes a deposit for a service, how do we collect the remaining balance? Is there an option for the customer to log in to the customer panel and pay the balance there?
    2. Additionally, if we manually enter a customer in the back end, how can they pay?

    Your assistance with these queries will be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Victor,

    Thanks for reaching out to us. Please, find the answers below

    1. When a customer makes a deposit for a service, how do we collect the remaining balance? Is there an option for the customer to log in to the customer panel and pay the balance there?

    The remaining amount will be paid on-site. The deposit option is only available for online payments, and you can enable an option for customers to pay the whole amount or just a percentage of the amount, while the rest will be paid on-site. 

       2. Additionally, if we manually enter a customer in the back end, how can they pay?

    When creating an appointment manually, it will always be "on site" payment. Unfortunatelly, currently, there is no option to choose the payment method when creating an appointment from the backend, but feel free to suggest this as a feature on our suggestion page.
