We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
I am looking for a way to allow my customers to select custom timeframes for their appointments, regardless of the specific service they are choosing. For instance, I offer a meditation service that can vary in duration. Sometimes it takes 1 hour, and sometimes it can take up to 4 hours. I would like my customers to be able to choose the duration that best suits their needs when booking an appointment.
Currently, the booking process requires customers to select a predefined duration for each service. However, I want to provide more flexibility and make it as easy as possible for my customers to select the timeframe they need with a specific employee.
Is there an existing feature or a workaround in Amelia that allows customers to select a custom duration for their appointments? If not, could you suggest the best way to implement this functionality?
Hello Marcio,
Thanks for reaching out to us. There is an option called "custom duration and pricing" in Service settings. This can be enabled for each service separately, and you can configure the duration and pricing according to your needs.
On the booking form, your customers will have the option to choose the duration on date / time step
