If your client purchased Amelia directly from our site then they are the owner of the license but if they purchased from a developer or if that developer purchased for them on his name then I am afraid that this developer is the owner of the license and your client will need to purchase a new license from our site.

Yes, unfortunately the only thing that you can do is to purchase a new license directly from us. The developer can install Amelia on the site of their customers but as part of a bundle and website design this developer as far as we can see only sold Amelia license if that is the case then this is criminal offence since they do not have right as such to resell license.

To explain user can purchase elit license and have 1000 licenses and then it can have 1000 clients but for each client they need to contact us on their behalf because those 1000 people are their clients and they pay the money to him not to us so they are their clients and that developer is our only client and the only one who paid the money for license to us. So only he can be the owner of the license and they can reach out to us for support.

So to have access to Amelia updates purchase code and support your client will need to purchase a new license from our site directly.
