Dear Amelia Support Team,
I am planning to integrate the Amelia booking engine into our new project, where we are developing a spa booking system that also incorporates a commission tracking system for our Business Associates (BA). I have several queries regarding the capabilities and customizations available in Amelia to ensure a seamless integration. Here are my specific inquiries:
Your guidance on these points will help us determine how well Amelia fits into our project and what additional resources or custom development might be required.
Looking forward to your prompt response.
Best regards,
Hello Marcus,
Thanks for reaching out to us. Since there are a lot of questions, I will do my best to cover them appropriately. In case if you want to have more details regarding specific topic or if you have any other questions, feel free to open a new ticket and we will kindly assist there.
Please, find the answers below
We do have API endpoints and webhooks that can be used in order to integrate with other CRM platforms. Please, find more information on this link.
Amelia already have a lot of customization options (colors, translate options, various interface options and etc). To be specific, there is already an option if I customer wants to choose if additional people are coming with him.
Unfortunately, there is currently no such option with Amelia's built-in features.
Please feel free to search through our feature suggestion page, to see if someone may have already suggested this feature. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there, and as more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list.
You can certainly follow our changeLog page if you'd like, where we state any changes/new features/bug fixes during updates and our newsletter, so you're informed about new features, bug fixes, freebies, etc.
Amelia does have the no-show option from recent updates. The way how this works is that you will have the option to mark a certain customer as a "no show" when a few appointments are not realized. More information on this link.
Amelia currently has integration with PayPal, WooCoomerce, RazorPay, Stipe and Mollie. These payments are available from the standard license, and you can find more information on this link.
Does Amelia offer built-in reporting tools that can generate specific reports on booking trends, no-show statistics, and revenue? Additionally, can the notification system be integrated with our existing systems for sending out booking confirmations, commission notifications, and reminders
By default, the notifications are configured to be sent each time there is a booking confirmed. Unfortunatelly, there are no reports, or statistics, but simple information is available at the backend of Amelia. (like a Dashboard where revenue is displayed)
Included support covers help with bugs and general inquiries for the plugin features, but in consultation with developers, we can always find possible workarounds. We have provided API documentation, but we can always provide additional assistance, if needed.
This primarily depends on the server performance, but there shouldn't be any issues. We've had customers that used Amelia for Covid-19 vaccinations, and they worked with around 1.000 appointments per day. If you have a lot of data (services, employees, appointments, and most likely customers) combined, so if the form is not filtered (like [ameliabooking service=1] or something similar), the form loads all services and all employees.
Unfortunately, this is currently not supported, but you can suggest it a feature as well on our feature suggestion page.
Amelia is a standalone plugin for WordPress, it needs to be used in WordPress environment. It uses PHP and some other technologies such as JS, Vue, CSS and etc. Besides API endpoint, we have Webhooks. This setting allows you to set several hooks that will send data from the Amelia plugin to any other application. It is good to use this option if you want to send, for example, customer data to some CRM platform. You can use any automation tool that allows you to integrate other applications with Amelia. Please, find more information on this link.
I hope i helped a bit. Just want to note that you can test out Amelia, and see if it fits your needs, and if it doesn't you can request a refund. We have a 15-day money-back guarantee period and you can request a refund during this period at any time.
Kind Regards,
Stefan Petrov
