Is there any way to assign two employees for one service, and block the time in both of their calendars? We're using Amelia as a tool and space reservation system, but we want to add instructors to the system as well. Ideally, when someone books a tool checkout/test, the system will remove the tool from being available and the instructor as well, at the same time. Is that possible?
We could potentially create a package that allows the customer to book both the tool and instructor, but will it let them book two appointments with the same start and end time?
No, unfortunately, currently, this feature is not built-in in Amelia. You can not book 2 appointments or 2 employees at the same time. there is a potential workaround how you can book 2 employees for the same appointment.
If you connect both Employees to the same Google Calendar, then in case there's a booking for let's say 10 am with Employee A, then the same time slot at 10 am will be unavailable for further bookings with Employee B as well.
Unfortunately, this workaround doesn't help to select two Employees for an Appointment separately. Thus, they will have to work in "fixed" pairs.
