So the service pricing in Amelia is fixed, but we are using WooCommerce product in the checkout and we need to display taxes. So Amelia using our WooComerce product that we have chosen, but we need to put a price in Amelia on the service to display to the customer, but that price in Amelia does not consider any taxes at all so that when customer is booking in the system they see a price let's say 28€ then when they reach the checkout the product is added and taxes are added then suddenly we go to 35€ because of applying 25% taxes.
So there is a missmatch in the booking of services in Amelia and WooCommerce checkout. How can we align this?
It seems that I have version 7.5.1 , but there is no update for me to get to 7.6 where I see there is support for Taxes... ?
Thank you for that. I will try to update. We prefer to use the tax in WooCommerce since our products are there. The problem then becomes that we set the pricing of a service in Amelia but then use the product when checking out.
So I need to set the price to be -25% in Amelia, unfortunately it shows when the customer is booking a service the price -25% but does not explain anywhere that it is without taxes.
The price in the woocommerce checkout is now correct, but displaying the customer during booking is wrong.
The price in Amelia correct because it is without zaxes. But perhaps we can help with that.
If you wish to add text to the "Total Amount" or "Subtotal" in Amelia's Booking Form on the "Payments" summary so that customers are aware that the price includes any tax or as you want to say they are without tax,
I recommend using the Loco Translate plugin, it is the easiest for this :
If I open Loco Translate and choose English US, because my site is in that language ( you will use your site language, of course),
I search for the string " Total Amount",
simply "translate" / change it to anything I need and hit "save" :
You can find these Strings "Subtotal", and "Total amount":
In our example, we add "short text" like Total Amount ( inc. GST) :
That was just an example - you can write any text you need there. (The same principle goes if you need to translate/change any other strings in Amelia) you can just write excluding GST
Hope this helps.
