We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

Hello! Long time no hear. We're again interested in buying Amelia again :)

I just need to double-check 2 things, as I remember these were quite problematic for our use case:

    1. Does Amelia operate on WP Users? Or does it have separate table with users details? I remember it was quite a mess to manage the users and employees. Can the User with Administrator role become an employee as well?
    2. Is it possible to make Amelia replicating details given in booking form (first name, last name, email) into WooCommerce checkout fields? It is super annoying for Users who must enter those details again :)

Thank you a ton in advance!

    Hello Marcin,

Thanks for reaching out to us and for your interest in Amelia.

    Please, find the answers below

    1. Does Amelia operate on WP Users? Or does it have separate table with users details? I remember it was quite a mess to manage the users and employees. Can the User with Administrator role become an employee as well?

There are two separate options for managing WP users and Amelia User (Customers). The same rule is still applied, two users should have different user roles and different emails. In other words, an admin can't be the employee at the same time and vice versa. You want to keep them separated (with different emails and user roles)

          2. Is it possible to make Amelia replicating details given in booking form (first name, last name, email) into WooCommerce checkout fields? It is super annoying for Users who must enter those details againsmile.png

Unfortunatelly, this is the same, and customers still need to enter their credentials on the WooCoomerce checkout. This is because, from the moment when the booking is finished in Amelia, the whole payment process is forwarded to WooCoomerce (and that's a separate window)

Anyway, you can always purchase our license and test it out since we have a 15-day money-back guarantee period. (I guess you are already familiar with this)
