How can I change the reservation (reserveren) button text to register (aanmelden)? You can find the button inside a form. I cannot find it in the settings or the language files.
You can change the labels of the buttons but only for new 2.0 form. If you are using the events booking form you can change the label on several steps for buttons in customize section like this for example
If you are using old booking form you will not be able to change the labels so you need to change the shortcode to a new booking form or just place a new widget instead and then in customize section you can change the labels for each step in booking form.
