I am using "User Registration" to create word press users with a role of "Amelia Customer". This creates a word press account but it doesn't create an Amelia Customer. I need to understand how to use a workflow that creates a user account and that data is used to create an Amelia Customer so they can log in to Customer Panel.
That is how it works at the moment as there is no option to automatically create a customer in Amelia when WP user with "Amelia Customer" role is created, but thanks for the suggestion, I will have this passed directly to our management.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
OK so the only way to register a customer is to book an appointment? If that is the case, that functionality is unacceptable. We either need a way to register a user in word press and then flow to amelia, or we need a way to create a user apart from having to book an appoint and the user be just in amelia not be part of the word press site.
The first experience we want is the user to create an account, then we want to direct them to customer panel to view available services. Can this be created in the next two weeks and released?
Uros is out of the office so I will step in for him.
Yes, that is correct if a customer does not have any bookings in Amelia they can not access the customer panel since there is nothing for them to look at. You can create customers in Amelia on the backend in customer section but there is no option in Amelia for registration as such since there is no membership feature in Amelia. So they can exist as such in Amelia but they need to book an appointment to be able to log in to customer panel.
And as Uros mentioned there is no option to automatically create a customer in Amelia when WP user with "Amelia Customer" role is created the suggestion has been forwarded to our dev team but will this ever be implemented at this time we can not say.

I agree, the two should be intrinsically linked so that this process is seamless
