I would like to remove old events from my event list and calendar. Since there are a lot of events (over 2 years) it is a lot to delete every single event. Is there a way to select a period of time and then delete it? So I select e.g. January 01, 2021 to January 01, 2022 and then it deletes these events. If this option is not available, how can I delete the events without having to delete each one individually?
Unfortunately, there is currently no such option with Amelia's built-in features. You can suggest that feature on the following link: https://features.wpamelia.com/
We carefully follow suggestions from our customers and the more votes the feature gets, the more priority we put on implementing that feature in one of the future updates.
There is no option to delete events in bulk, just one by one.
Then you should be able to delete them from the server. If I access the server via FTP, I should be able to find the files somewhere and delete them, shouldn't I?
The events are indeed stored into the database, but the table with events is connected to several other tables and thus, if you do delete events directly from the database, it will cause major issues with the lack of data that is requested as data from that table is missing.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
