When I get a new booking from a customer in one of my yoga services and then when I open edit mode (pencil icon) and then manually set approved status to a customer, the customer is not getting the approved booking notification to their email.
When new customer is added to booking the group status changes to pending, but the problem is, when i set the group status to approved each time all the earlier customers repeatedly get the notification of approved via email, so the customers who booked in beginning always get same message.
In general settings I already added option to approved.
We really need the option to approve the booking in the edit mode via individual customer so that they get confirmation status.
Please kindly fix it because now customer not getting approved messages. thank you.
Thanks for reaching out to us. Actually, the notification should be sent even if you change the status in group appointments. Are you using SMTP protocol for mail settings?
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.

Thanks for the credentials. Well, in case if you want to have more control over your appointments (to be able to approve them manually) you would need to set the status to pending. Each time a new appointment is booked, you will be able to see it in the backend and then you can choose if you want to approve or not.
If configured to pending, and there are multiple appointments booked for the same timeslot, all appointments would have a "pending" status and you would have the option to either change the group status or a status of each appointment individually. While you can configure the default appointment status in General settings, you can also configure the appointment status for each service separately. This will override the General settings, so if you have a service 1 with an "approved" status, you can also have a service 2 will a "pending" status.
