We import Google Sheets into wpdatatables. Here all data is displayed correctly, including the date. I have set the date on your pages to the correct format. When I create a chart from the data, it shows completely wrong dates
since the update to version 6.5 and also in 6.5.1, I have the problem that in charts, the x-axis is no longer displayed correctly in terms of dates. Either the chart is completely messed up, or it always shows the same date.
Here is an example where the chart is not displayed correctly:
We don't work on weekends so it adds two days to the waiting time.
We appreciate your patience.
I can confirm this is a bug on our end for versions 6.5. and 6.5.1.
I tried HighCharts and ApexCharts Engine, but our QA team is going to test all chart engines, it seems it is the same for all of them as well as all date formats.
It does not happen on the 6.4 version; when I downgrade it on my Site, the issue is not present.
As a quick temporary solution, I am going to send the older 6.4 premium installation in a PRIVATE message for Dennis, since he confirmed the licence on this ticket and this is a public ticket.
So you can downgrade/reroll to this version to get your chart X axis working normally again, in the meantime our developers will do their best to make a fix as quickly as possible.
We don't have an exact ETA on when the fix will be available, but we are placing a high priority on this one, so please keep a lookout on our wpDataTables changeLog.
It will be stated there during updates which bug fixes have been implemented at each update.
If they create a fix in between updates, I will make sure to send it to you right away.
@Andreas, if you wish us to send you the older 6.4 installation, please open a new private ticket from your Ticksy account, confirm your premium licence there and I can send it for you, too, if needed.
Same goes for any other user who comes across this ticket, we are doing our best to fix this as quick as possible, and if you need us to send you the 6.4 installation as a temporary measure, please open a private ticket, confirm your premium licence and we will send it to you as a temporary solution.
I am happy to report, we released a small update Version 6.5.2 today, which contains the fix for the Charts bug of rendering the Date values for X axis.
So can you please update the Plugin to 6.5.2 version and refresh your Chart(s), now it should be working correctly and the bug should be fixed :
Thank you Miloš for the update of the plugin. I just tried to download the plugin via envato but there is still the old version. I get this information in the wpdatatables.php file
I will advise our Envato Team to update it on that end as soon as possible.
We can send you the latest installation copy here on a ticket, if you can just please create a new private ticket and just send us the Envato licence key there;
or send us a proof of purchase/invoice from Envato and we will send you the latest licence installation?
Just make sure it is a private ticket for security reasons.
