I am renewing the website for a mutual customer. The website is almost finished, but now we want to install amalia. This also worked, but I see a very empty agenda. How do I transfer the data from his amalia that he uses on his old website to the new one?
You can do that by using the Duplicator plugin. It will generate a couple of files that you can transfer to the new domain and it will create an exact copy of your website.
The Duplicator plugin can export only up to 500MB of data, so if your site is bigger than that, you can use the All-in-One WP Migration plugin.
- Other than cloning your website, there's a way to migrate only Amelia's database tables.
There are around 47 tables with wp_amelia_ prefix that need to be moved. Please note that wp_ is the default database prefix, but on your end, it could be anything, so look for your_prefix_amelia_ tables.
Besides that, you also need to go to wp_options and search for option_name "amelia_settings" - which returns one row, so you need to copy the option_value and paste it in the same field on the other site.
Note that this contains all the info from your old website, so you will need to replace the URLs in this cell.
There is also an option to export the .csv files, but this is not available for all sections. For example, you can export appointments, customers, event attendees, but some other sections are still missing these functions. I guess this could be a faster (safer) way, but the first one mentioned is the definitely the "compete"one.
I have now removed all the appointments and saved them as an existing .csv. My question now is how do I get this file imported into my new amelia environment.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we can log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.

I would like to hear from you
Hello alem,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
The easiest way is to clone your website.

I hope it helps.

Hello Stefan,
That's a lot of steps to do and then also hope that it goes well.
Do you not work with accounts that you can log in to?

Hello Stefan,
When I have moved the website with "All in one migrate" then amalia remains on the appointments loading screen.
Appointments, Events, Payments and Services are not loaded properly.
The Employees, location, customers, notifications, settings are loaded correctly.
What should I do now?
Hello Stephan,
I have now removed all the appointments and saved them as an existing .csv. My question now is how do I get this file imported into my new amelia environment.
I'd like to hear what to do.
Regards,
Nicky Wiesbrock
