I have successfully configured the Google Calendar integration with Amelia, and the synchronization from Amelia to Google Calendar is working seamlessly in real-time. However, I am facing an issue with the synchronization from Google Calendar back to Amelia.
When I add a block in Google Calendar, the corresponding slots do not get synchronized to Amelia. As a result, clients can still book slots in the Step by Step 2.0 frontend form even when they are marked as unavailable in Google Calendar. This discrepancy is creating confusion and impacting the booking process.
Could you please assist me in resolving this issue? It seems that the syncing mechanism from Google Calendar to Amelia may not be functioning correctly. I suspect that the webhook or API connection responsible for updating Amelia's availability based on Google Calendar events may need to be reconfigured or debugged.
I would appreciate your help in addressing this matter promptly so that our booking system remains accurate and up-to-date.
Thank you for your attention to this issue.
Hello Peter,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Events from Google Calendar will not be displayed in Amelia but busy events from Google Calendar will block time slots in Amelia. For that purpose, please make sure that the "Remove Google Calendar Busy Slots" option is enabled on the Amelia/Settings/Integrations/Google Calendar page. Also, you can increase the "Maximum Number Of Events Returned" option as well.
Kind Regards,
Uros Jovanovic
