Hello, When closing the Catalog Booking 2.0 popup, a "Go Back" button appears on the top left of the form, clicking this button makes the form disappear completely and requires the user to refresh the page for the form to appear. Is this behaviour intended?
Using the latest Wordpress v6.5.3, theme Twenty Twenty-Four, no other plugin active.
Thanks for reaching out to us. It's not normal behavior, certainly, there is a conflict. I've just tried to reproduce the use case on our local host, but it works properly.
Issues like this usually occur when there is a conflict either with the theme currently active on your website, or another plugin you have installed.
Can you please change the theme and see if the issue is resolved? If not, then please deactivate all other plugins except for our plugin, refresh the page where the issue is, and see if it is resolved (it should be). If it is, then start activating other plugins one by one, and after each activation refresh the page to see if the issue occurred.
As I mentioned earlier, I'm testing with the standard theme Twenty Twenty-Four and no other plugins active, using the latest WordPress version 6.5.3. Initially, I conducted these tests locally using Local by Flywheel.
To be thorough, I also performed a fresh installation on the online server. The latest WordPress version is now 6.5.4, with no other plugins active. I only added category, service, and employee to Amelia. Placed the [ameliacatalogbooking] on the sample page.
The behavior remains the same. After pressing "Book Now," a popup appears. When you use the close button, a new "Go back" button appears on the header of the form. Using this button causes the form to disappear.
I will send you the website link and login details privately.
Thanks for the access. I can see that you only have Amelia installed a two more plugins, this shouldn't cause any conflicts. Unfortunatelly, as stated previously, I wasn't able to reproduce this use case on our local host. Let me double-check with the developers for more information. I will get back to you as soon as possible.
After further investigation, we have identified this as a bug. We are adding this to the list of things that need to be fixed for future updates. Unfortunatelly, can't promise ETA at this moment, but you can always follow the changelog page to keep up with the updates.
Let's discuss potential solutions while we wait for the bug update. What does this button do? Can we target it with CSS and remove it? If we do so, will it affect other parts of the booking process?
Well, there is no specific function, the button serves to go back in case if you want to. It's meant to be used to go back in case when you many services and packages in the catalog booking form. It can be hidden by using a CSS code. Can you please provide the URL of the page where the booking is located? (I don't see it in related)
Apologies, i missed that part in a rush. I thought that I could help in hiding the button with CSS, but you already did it. We will address this bug in a future update, of course.

Hi Stefan,
I don't quite understand your request. The URL and admin access were sent in a private reply. I have hidden the button using CSS:
