When someone purchases the same expiring package multiple times, they remain seeing the validation date from the first purchase even if they already used all the credits from the first purchase. This is very confusing.
In the example attached the client purchased the first package on February 19. The package has a expiration of 4 months so this is valid until June 19.
Meanwhile all the appointments from the first purchase where completed and this client purchased the same package again on the April 28. However they still get to see an expiration date of June 19 when in fact this new purchase will expire August 28.
I realise that this validation date will show August 28 as soon as we pass June 19 but that does not make any sense. This would would only make sense if she had purchased the package a second time but still had unused appointments from the first purchase left.
I notice before going into the package, there is a new message showing the 'Appointment from the original purchased package expire on:' message which is very helpfull but also only as long as there are appointments remaining to be reserved in this first purchase.
Conclusion: the 'Valid until' should show the expiration date of the purchased package which is currently active and where Amelia currently will deduct the appointments from.
The 'Appointment from the original purchased package expire on:' message has to go away as soon as all of those appointments are scheduled/fullfilled.
Showing correct validation dates is very important for customers. In this case the client thinks that here 8 remaining credits will expire in June 19 while in fact she has time until August 28.
Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. We understand how confusing it can be for clients to see the expiration date from the first package purchase, even after all credits from that purchase have been used. We recognize the importance of displaying the correct expiration date, especially to ensure that clients are aware of the true validity period of their remaining credits.
We've carefully reviewed the example you provided. A client purchased a package on February 19 with an expiration date of June 19. After using all the credits, they bought the same package again on April 28. Despite the new expiration date being August 28, the client still sees the June 19 date. We understand that this discrepancy can cause unnecessary confusion and miscommunication.
We've noted that the current system only updates the expiration date once the previous date has passed. This approach is problematic unless the client still has unused appointments from the first package, which is not the typical case.
To address this, the 'Valid until' date should accurately reflect the expiration date of the current active package. Additionally, the message 'Appointments from the original purchased package expire on:' should disappear as soon as all those appointments are scheduled or fulfilled.
We acknowledge the importance of displaying correct validation dates to avoid any confusion for clients. Rest assured, our development team is aware of this issue and will prioritize resolving it as soon as possible. We aim to ensure that all expiration dates displayed are accurate and up-to-date to provide a better user experience.
Thank you for your patience and for helping us improve our system. If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out.
