we want to use Google Analytics for the abovementioned booking form. The Page Load and Complete Booking Events show up in GA correctly, but we can not see the "Show Checkout Form" event. See the screenshot for our configuration.
Another problem we solved already but I'd like to provide as feedback:
We used to have a String like "customer" in the value field for the Page Load event and I only learned through a video that it has to be a numeric value. Also we had some colons in the Event name, which also broke GA. Both we could figure out ourselves, but it would be nice to have some validation or help hints here :)
I would like to sincerely apologize for the delayed response as we have been experiencing an unusually high number of tickets. I am sorry that it has taken longer than usual to respond to your concern and your patience is highly appreciated.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
After further investigation, this is what we were able to find. The reason why you are seeing this is because the hook is triggered on the payment step and since your services are free the payment step is skipped. Unfortunatelly, currently, there is no workaround at this moment, but we are looking forward to fix this in future updates so that the hook is triggered on the customer info step.
We will do our best to fix it for future updates. In the meantime, if you have any other questions or issues, feel free to reach out to us and we will provide assistance.
