Block Booking with No Flexibility on Dates

I would like to set up pregnancy yoga classes to be booked in 6 week blocks.

The start and end dates will differ per person depending on the date they would want to start the classes.

I always find these tickets hard as I’m not great at explaining myself fully so I’ll add all details below!

My business model is for people to book classes in 6 week blocks, maximum of 8 people in the class at one time, there will be 1 class per week on a Thursday until the end of their pregnancy. They have that reserved space until they either are at the end of the pregnancy or they decide to not return. I will provide a refund of the difference should they finish earlier due to birth. Once a space is freed up, I would like to open this on the website for someone to book in.  The other hurdle I have is that I need to protect the ability to book from the public until my students who already have a spot reserved (in full swing of the classes) decide to not continue then I can open it up.

Originally I explored the event option by adding 6 dates starting on 12th June but if someone wanted to start on a different date, they wouldn’t be able to with this method.

I have also looked at services or packages but that gives the students the flexibility to pick and choose which dates to attend.

    Hello Jo,

Thank you for reaching out with your detailed explanation. I understand that you'd like to set up pregnancy yoga classes that can be booked in 6-week blocks, with varying start and end dates for each participant. I appreciate the comprehensive overview of your business model, and I'm here to help you find the best solution using Amelia.

Based on your requirements, here’s what I suggest:

Custom Service Duration and Pricing: While Amelia currently does not support having each person start and end at completely different times for a single booking option, it does offer a feature that might partially meet your needs. You can use the custom duration and pricing feature to set up different durations for your services. This way, you can have classes with variable durations depending on the client's needs.

Here’s a detailed guide on how you can set this up: Amelia Custom Service Duration

    Kind Regards,
