A client of mine complained about rescheduling his appointment through the new client profile and choosing 6:00 p.m. However, I was notified that it got changed to 4 pm. He logged in to his profile today and said that it first showed as 2 pm but then changed to 4 pm (which was never his desired appointment to begin with) He said that he was in Europe/Berlin time zone as he rescheduled (the time zone I work in) and that he didn’t use any special browser or VPN that would alter the time zone. I have the “show the time slots in the clients time zone” setting active. I tried to deactivate this to prevent further confusions, so that all appointments can only be shown in Berlin Time Zone (the one active in my WPress settings). However, as I did it, I noticed that all appointments are shown either one hour or two hours later as supposed to. This gets “fixed” if I activate the clients time zone checkbox again. I know that the WPresss’ time and date are correct, because I displayed them using a shortcode. I also double checked the settings for my services and they are all correct. What is happening with the time zones and how can I fix this? This is a serious problem because I now lost this appointment because of this.
Let's just make sure that we're on the same page - when you deactivate the "Show the time slots in the client's time zone" - do all appointments shift in the panel or in your back-end? If it's in the back-end, it could be that the time zone in your WordPress' General Settings is configured as "UTC+/- 2" (or something similar) and this issue is not coming from Amelia. It's explained here: Time Zones with Amelia
Can you please record your screen and show me this behavior so I can investigate locally?
I deactivated completely all functions for dynamic time zones to avoid confusions and this helped.
The timezone in WP was always right, so there must have been another explanation for this happening. Im now informing all clients that all sessions will be booked in Berlin time to avoid confussions (although dynamic time zones would be a cool feature, if it worked accurately) I am now facing another problem with recurring sessions, but I will open another ticket with pictures for this
I'm glad to hear you were able to work around this, but the time zone of WordPress is what's dictating the time zone of Amelia - there are no settings for the time zone in our plugin. Also, VPN can't fool Amelia into "thinking" the user is in another time zone as it looks for the device's physical address.
If you configure a staging site, that'd be the duplicate of your live site, and send me the admin credentials, I'd be more than willing to look into it and see what's going on with the time zones.

Hello Santiago.
Thank you for reaching out to us.

Hi again Santiago.
