I added a second employee for my business and trying to add her Google calendar. Every time I click on "Google Sign In"...I get this error. Please see attached.
So I"m trying to add a regular Gmail account...not a Google Paid Workspace account. Does this matter? Can I still use regular Gmail accounts for the exmployees. I use a Google Workspace email but I want my employee to use a regular free gmail she has.
Please provide the Google Cloud Console access and WP admin credentials so i can log in to take a look.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
After i logged in and fixed the redirect URI on Google Cloud Console, I was able to connect the employee to the Google Calendar. Here is how to do it. Go to the employees, select an employee, and when you click on sing in with Google Calendar you should be able to see this window
You would just need to select Google account (no redirect URI issues). Make sure that you are logged in as an admin and try again.
If I open your booking form in new window (incognito) I am able to go through all the steps in make a reservation
Is there any specific issue that your customers sees when they want to book ?
Apologies for the delayed answer. There is a time difference so that's why you are seeing my answers late.
I've changed the Secret ID and Client ID previously, that's why you saw the changes. I've changed it back again, and now Aurora can sign in again. You want to keep these credentials in the console. Feel free to check it out now.
Great. It was a bit tricky, but good to see that it's working now. Well, there is an option for admins actually called "Allow admin to book an appointment at any time". By default, when an admin want to schedule an appointment manually from the backend, it follows the employee work hours. For example, if you select a certain service, you would also need to select an employee. By enabling this option, it will allow your admin to book at any time, no matter the employee work hours.
You can find it un User Role settings / Admin. I hope it helps.
Please accept my apologies for the delayed answer. Here is a basic overview of how this feature works. If it's enabled, an admin will have the option to book any timeslot regardless of the employee work hours, as you already know. But, you wont be able to choose an employee or location if an employee is not assigned to a certain location and if there is already an appointment booked for a certain timeslot. I'm not able to see the appointments in Google Calendar for the other days, but if we take a look at today (11 June), employee Eve has one appointment booked for 7:30PM. All other timeslots are available for booking, except the 07:30PM if you want to book an appointment in the backend.
If I go and create a new test employee (without Google Calendar connected), so no appointments are booked at all, all timeslots from 12 AM to 12 PM are available.
Yep, this is what I needed, thank you. There is a bug in the system. I knew there was something up with this. Thank you for pointing that out. When is the new update coming for this fix?
Also, I still don't quite understand when you said take the location off Eve's working hours and leave it default. Does it default to Bellevue location? Because she is specifically in the Kirkland location on these days. If I take the location off as you said and leave it default. What will happen when clients book exactly? What location do they go to?
Eve has a default location configured to Kirkland (in employee settings), so you want to remove the location from work hours, because Amelia automatically assumes the location from employee settings. In other words, there is no need to assign the location in work hours, if already assigned in employee settings.
Regarding the service booking, the only solution would be through the "Cart" feature. By default, a customer can only book one timeslot for one service, but using a cart feature, they can select multiple appointments for multiple services. You can find more information on this link.
My next question is, there are two employees at the same location using the same room. How do I make it for these two employees don't overlap appointments? Let's say Eve books an appointment for her client for 1pm and Aurora books an appointment for 1pm for her client, these won't overlap, correct?
These are two different employees and their work hours are not related to each other, just like the other settings. Even though they can be assigned to the same service, their work hours can be different. For example, Eve can be booked for service 1 at 1PM, but Aurora is available for the same timeslot, for same service, so they wont overlap.
