I deactivated all plugins and reactivated. After doing this, the plugin started working normally. Is there any way of know what the issue was? or ways I can increase the speed of the plugin?
Whee you see that you have a 403 error in the console. The 403 Forbidden Error happens when the web page (or another resource) that you’re trying to open in your web browser is a resource that you’re not allowed to access. It’s called a 403 error because that’s the HTTP status code that the webserver uses to describe that kind of error.
You usually get this error for one of two reasons. The first is that the owners of the webserver have properly set up access permissions and that you’re really not allowed access to the resource. The second reason is that the owners of the webserver have improperly set up permissions and you’re getting denied access when you really shouldn’t be.
You need to contact your hosting provider because you have an issue with your permissions.
We are not aware of any such issues as for speed.
The slow load can be caused by a lot of things - the number of appointments you have, the number of customers, the number of employees, etc.
As for the speed of Amelia itself, we cannot influence it because Amelia is not SaaS and the speed of your site and Amelia depends on the package you have with your hosting provider.
This is related to your package with your hosting provider because each page opens and loads for a very long time. Neither of these two issues is related to Amelia.
It could be caused by the amount of other data you have on the page.
Try and increase the php_memory_limit on your site?
If you're not sure how to do that, you can reach out to your hosting provider.
Please check out our demo sites (link) and see how the plugin should behave on a site with dedicated hosting and good server performance.
Should you have any further inquiries, we kindly request that you open separate tickets for each question and we will gladly help you there.
We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.
Thank you Marko - I am the owner of the webserver and reset the permissions. That did not immediately get rid of that error. I had to deactivate and reactivate the plugin. Then there was no longer the permissions error.
Thank you for giving me an example of the speed I should expect. That is very helpful. I am implementing measures to help with this. What version of php are you currently recommending for your plugin? I am at 8.0. It is true for this particular client there is a lot on that particular page. I am going to experiment a bit. Thank you for your time.
A few days ago Amelia dashboard and booking form stopped loading. Sometimes in settings, when I try to save something is won't and throws a 403 error.
I deactivated all plugins and reactivated. After doing this, the plugin started working normally. Is there any way of know what the issue was? or ways I can increase the speed of the plugin?
