When a customer books an appointment with Mollie payment for SEPA bank transfer ("Open" payment status) and this appointment has already existing bookings (group status “Approved”), the booking status of this new customer is shown as “Pending”, but the email notification to customer and employee is sent for the status “Approved”.
This needs to be analyzed and fixed urgently!
See screenshots attached. The login data for our Wordpress test instance can also be provided.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.

We went on your site and we made a couple of booking we did not delete them so that you can look at them yourself. We could not replicate this issue
As you can see both of these booking were made on the front end for the same appointment and they both have approved status. So from testing on your site we can only say that we can not replicate this issue and all is working fine as far as we can see.
Should you have any further inquiries, we kindly request that you open separate tickets for each question and we will gladly help you there.
We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.
it is definitely reproducible on our test server with the Mollie Sandbox API and pendingPayPal payment.
If a customer has already booked the an appointment with the status "Approved", the next upcoming booking with "pending booking status" in the same appointment triggers the mail notification for approved bookings to the customer.
You can test it again on the test server frontend for the "Test service" service. I have just tested it again.
If you want a web call, I am available this week for a detailed bug presentation.
What is the current status of the reported bug in the Amelia plugin?
In Google Chat, you wrote that you noticed the issue from your end without having the ability to demonstrate the issue to you via screen sharing.
What is the planned fix version? We urgently need this fix as customers currently receive an email notification with "approved appointment" before payment.
My apology for the misunderstanding. The issue that I thought this was referring to is another one.
The issue with the status of the group booking status as opposed to the status of a single customer inside the group booking is as follows.
When the group appointment is approved, all of the participants inside that appointment receive a "Approved appointment" email. That is why, until the appointment is fully confirmed and completely full, it is advisable not to be set to approved.
We will work on improving this option so it is clearer to the customers who are booking appointments.
In the meantime, please let me know if you have any other questions.
From your explanation, it seems there is a workaround to avoid this issue?
Can I set the default group booking status to "pending" but the single customer status to "approved" so that they receive the notification for the successful payment?
Unfortunately this does not work for us as we want to send the approval notification directly to each customer booking after the payment has been received.
Setting the default appointment status to "Pending" would result in customers waiting until other customers' booking for the same appointment is closed to then set the "Approved" status.
Can you please let me know the planned fix version for your bugfix?

Hello Philipp,
Unfortunately, at the moment, the only option is for you to set the default appointment status of that service to pending.
Please let me know if that works for you or not.
