Are you referring to the back-end table? If you are, and you configured the "Row Click", it works fine in the front, but in the back, you need to select the "Details" button above the table to see the details in a popup:
If I misunderstood your question, please explain in more detail and maybe provide me with some screenshots or screen recordings, so I can see the issue.
I have several tables that use the Master-Detail facility. When I create a new one, the screen does not open the popup.
