Booking Limits

    Hey team,

Just wondering if there's a way to create some booking rules for services.

For example, if I have 4 available appointment slots in one day, and I offer 3 services, e.g. Massage, Coaching, Consultation.

Is there a way that we can create a limit to the number of massages available on that day, so that customers can't book more massages that day if say, the employee already has 2 or 3 of that service booked.

Reason being that massage is quite physical, and, while the employee may be available to provide massage at 4 different timeslots, they may only want to offer a maximum of 1-3 in a day, so they're not booked out entirely doing massage.

    Does this make sense?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Hello Tom,

Thanks for reaching out to us. There are two ways, you can configure the limit per customer in each service setting. This limit can be configured per day, month, number of appointments and etc. You can find more information on this link. You can also configure the limit per employee, but this one is configured to be daily and it affects all services and appointments, so the number is in general, per day. You can find this option in the User Role settings/employee section.

    I hope it helps.

    Kind Regards,

    Hey Stefan,

Thanks for your reply. Yeah, I don't want to limit customer bookings in this situation. Definitely more about the employee having control over how many appointments they have of a specific service. I have seen the limit option in the user roles settings, but that's too general.

In my example, I still want the employee to be able to offer other services in their timeslots, so they can work their capacity. Just want them to say "I only want to do a maximum of 3 Massages per day" but still have the option for the customer to book into their preferred timeslot. (so not excluding the service from a particular timeslot in the customer booking panel)

Perhaps this could be an update feature in the future :)

    Hello Tom,

I understand. Unfortunately, the option "limit appointment per employee" is to "general" as you said, but you can always suggest an improvement or feature on our suggestion page. You can certainly follow our changeLog page if you'd like, where we state any changes/new features/bug fixes during updates and our newsletter, so you're informed about new features, bug fixes, freebies, etc.

Of course, if you have any other questions or issues, feel free to ask.

    Kind Regards,
