Amelia on the last days have been locking my patients and doctors from managing and seeing their agenda. It shows as they don’t have permission to see their agenda - please see the attached image sent by hundreds of people.
This was before updating Amelia. After this problem was identified. I’ve updated Amelia but it did not solve the problem.
I’ve restored twice the backups to go to revert the website to days before when it was working. But in the next morning, no one could see their agenda again due to having no permission.
All their profiles were checked and all have their respective permissions. However, Wordpress is not acknowledging the permissions.
As an admin I can see everything. But no employee, no doctors, no patients are able to see.
I have about a thousand appointments to admin every day and this is causing way much pain to all.
Thanks for reaching out to us. As you may already know, each user role has a specific set of permissions. For example, an admin can see and change all the settings in the backend, while an employee or a customer can't see all the settings, but only a few settings. This could also be an issue with the mixed roles. Please double-check if there are any WP users with multiple user roles assigned. This is creating a conflict and Amelia is confused about which roles to assign.
This is not the case. Each person has one only role in Amelia. However, even those who has one only role at all in the entire website - which is the case for those who are customers/patients - are not being able to see. Fin other words, in the entire clinic , patients has one only role which is Amelia Costumer. So, even the patients that have only one Amelia role are not able to see their agenda.
I see now. Can you please provide the WP admin credentials of one user (possibly admin) or perhaps you can provide the credentials for other users, so i can log in to take a better look.
Hey Stefan, thank you so much for your support. In the urgency of this matter, yesterday I’ve considered to assume that the problem was not between Amelia and WordPress. Further, i’ve installed a version of my website in a new location but now, only with Amelia and Wordpress. As I suspected, the permissions worked fine. I’ve worked on this issue through the night and found out that the issue was in the login.
Thank you so much for your support. I am glad that I can continue with Amelia.
Thanks for the feedback! Great job in finding the root cause. All this time i was suspicious about the user roles since in 99 percent of cases, the issue is related to user roles.
Anyway, if you have any other questions or issues, feel free to reach out to us again and we will kindly assist.
