When the calendar is fully booked for an entire month and new customers attempt to schedule, it displays a blank calendar without indicating that all dates are already reserved.
New customers find it confusing, and we've received reports from customers stating they don't know what to do or suspect something is wrong with their webpage.
Are there any settings in the Step-by-Step Booking Form 2.0 that can be customized to indicate when the calendar month is fully booked? What is the best technical practice in Amelia WP for addressing this scenario?
Unfortunately, currently, this feature is not built-in in Amelia. When the time slots are fulled it can only display like this that all time slots are unavailable and your customers must choose anther month. Unfortunately, there is nothing else that we can change or set at this time since this will require new redesign of the form.
In light of this, we encourage you to kindly consider submitting this valuable suggestion as a feature request through the following link: https://features.wpamelia.com/. The prioritization of feature development is greatly influenced by the number of customer requests received. By participating and expressing your support, you contribute significantly to the potential expedited implementation of this feature.
Should you have any further inquiries, we kindly request that you open separate tickets for each question and we will gladly help you there.
We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.
Just to clarify, it's not just the month that is fully booked, it's the entire "Period available for booking in advance", which is 90 days.
As shown in the attached image, the drop-downs for the month and year are not visible because of the "Period available for booking in advance" setting.
I understand that the calendar dates are dimmed or faded to indicate that they are booked, serving as a visual cue for unavailable dates.
If there were a clear indication that all dates are fully booked, it would help avoid confusion for customers when they see the calendar, especially for non-technical or less tech-savvy customers.
To AmeliaWP users that are running a business, this is not a suggestion or feature request, but an actual problem.
Thank you for your feedback. While we understand your concerns, we see this as more of a suggestion for improvement rather than a pressing issue. Among our 70,000 users, only a few have raised similar points. Our form designs are based on extensive studies and customer feedback, ensuring they meet the needs of most users. When all timeslots are grayed out, it clearly indicates their unavailability during that period.
We value and respect everyone's opinions. We encourage you to submit your suggestion for improvement. If it receives significant support, it is likely that we will consider making changes in the future. Thank you for helping us enhance our services.
